On November 10th I place my last overseas show of the year at Iðnó, Reykjavík for Iceland Airwaves Festival! Also featuring some of my Bella Union family Mammút, Pom Poko, Eydis Evensen and a DJ set from Simon Raymonde.
Iceland!! In addition to my Nov 10th performance at Iðnó in Reykjavík, I’m honoured to have been selected by Ásgeir to take part in the special Straight To Vinyl project at this year’s Iceland Airwaves festival!
On November 9th at 6pm I’ll be performing at Hljóðriti in Hafnarfjörður, with the session being cut live to vinyl and given away to a handful of lucky ticket holders. RSVP is essential from icelandairwaves.is/special-events/asgeir.

That’s a wrap on this Indonesia mini-tour. Thank you to everyone who came to one of our 3 shows! Infinite gratitude to everyone at British Council ID, Archipelago Festival, Greenpeace Indonesia, SOS Forests, Music for Brighter Day and Rumah Sanur for making this all happen, it was a privilege to have had the opportunity.
Cheers to Josh Taffel for filling in on drums, plus to Teia Fregona on guitars and synths always. Special shout out to our hero Adrian Wail for looking after us so diligently and to Simon, Abbey and Nadhira for also being awesome.
Picture below is from my Wallacea Week show at the National Library for Greenpeace and SOS Forests - PLEASE check out the excellent work both are doing to preserve the natural sounds of Indonesia’s rainforests, which we are in constant danger of losing if massive industry is not kept in check.

Next week I travel to Indonesia to perform at Archipelago Festival and the British Council’s UK/ID Festival. To celebrate this first ever performance in my dad’s home country, I’ve written a brand new song in bahasa Indonesia, called ‘Pesawat Aeroplane’. Click links below to listen:

As a half-Indonesian it’s massive for me to finally be able to play in my family’s home country. Full autumn tour dates below:
