It’s a song about the meaning and memories held within unassuming physical objects around you, and I wrote it to pick myself up one evening when my mood needed lifting. Looking around I realised there were so many little inanimate objects at my desk which, to someone else, might seem like ordinary things, but for me each one was connected to a specific happy memory which brought positive feelings flooding back. I wrote about each one in turn and made sure the music reflected the feelings they conjured; by the end the process had lifted my spirits so much that I think it’s potentially become my favourite song I’ve ever written, and if I’m honest I think is the most genuine to myself that I’ve ever been through my solo music. 

Big love to Rittipo once again on the killer sax and winds, to Lucci for mixing it so wonderfully, Wyldest for helping me film visuals, Studio Adfail for the track artwork and Joe Thorpe for engineering the drum sessions!
